We believe gardens are more than decoration

They're living systems that respond to care, attention, and understanding. Our work begins with listening—to the land, to the climate, and to how you want to experience your outdoor space.

Garden care professional

How we started

Firm Trust began in 2014 with a simple observation: most garden services treated outdoor spaces like a checklist. Mow the lawn, trim the hedges, send the invoice.

We saw an opportunity to approach things differently. What if gardens were designed around how people actually live? What if maintenance plans adapted to the seasons, the soil, and the specific microclimate of each property?

Over the past decade, we've worked with hundreds of residential and commercial properties across Australia. Each project taught us something new about native plants, water conservation, and designing outdoor spaces that improve with time rather than require constant intervention.

Today, we're a team of horticulturists, landscape designers, and garden care specialists who share a common belief: the best gardens are the ones that feel inevitable, as if they were always meant to be there.

What guides our work

Site-specific design

We don't impose a style. Instead, we observe your property's natural conditions—sunlight patterns, drainage, soil composition, existing vegetation—and design solutions that work with these factors, not against them.

Native plant advocacy

Australian native plants are adapted to local conditions, require less water, and support local wildlife. We prioritize natives whenever possible, creating gardens that are both beautiful and ecologically responsible.

Long-term thinking

Quick fixes rarely last. We design gardens that mature gracefully, with plant selections and layouts that consider growth patterns five, ten, even twenty years from now.

Client education

We want you to understand your garden. During consultations and installations, we explain plant care, seasonal changes, and basic maintenance so you can be an active participant in your outdoor space.

Our process is collaborative

We start every project with a site visit. Not just a quick walkthrough, but a thorough assessment where we observe how water moves through your property, where shade falls at different times of day, and which areas feel most inviting.

Then we talk. About your goals, your lifestyle, how you currently use your outdoor space, and what's not working. These conversations reveal priorities that aren't always obvious at first glance.

From there, we develop a design proposal. It includes plant selections with mature sizes, layout drawings, and a realistic timeline. We revise as needed until it feels right.

Implementation is careful and methodical. We prepare soil properly, source healthy plants, and install with attention to spacing, orientation, and establishment care. The work site is cleaned daily, and we're available to answer questions throughout the process.
